Devontae Springer, CA

In 2018, Devontae co-authored the MBK Sacramento Youth Fellowship Policy Brief, focusing on challenges faced by boys and men of color, particularly in mental health. In In 2019 he began advoacting for youth justice legislation at the California State Capitol, earning recognition, including from the Obama Foundation.  Devontae has a diverse background, including being a licensed California Real Estate Salesperson (DRE#2175353), as well as currently serving as a Research Analyst at Impact Justice, leveraging his expertise for CHA's programs. 

Rabia Qutab, CA

Rabia  holds a BS in Biology as well as work experience in both front-end and back-office nonprofit operations, in addition to lived experience as a formerly incarcerated woman. Rabia brings a strong background in data and finance. Her work as an advocate and a freedom worker seeks to include folks with similar lived experiences, exposing the dangers of marginalization by empowering them with support, resources, enhanced wellness, self-reliance, and financial sustainability.

Canija White, ATL

A retired Navy Sailor, and MBA student at Keller Graduate school of management. In spite of a sometimes traumatic childhood including her fathers 29 year incarceration, Canija spent 6 years in the Navy. Followed by 6 years pursuing education in business administration. With a passion for storytelling and a love for people canija recognizes the importance of organizations like CHA.
